Event Description

1 Day and 1 Night of games and challenges investigating supply lines in a *Peak Oil world. In the urban wilds of bristol play and collectively locate : Food :Water : Shelter: Communication: Heat

Meet at Midday 1st July Cube Cinema for debrief and action planning. Bring minimal survival stuff (see list below) and your friends

*Peak Oil - The supply of cheap oil runs out ; the fuel of industrial growth depleted. May impact agriculture, transport, economies, etc. Rumoured to be soon or already happening

Schedule

  • Sat 1st July - meet midday Cube Cinema for registration
  • 12.15 - 12.45pm - Peak Oil Olympics introduction
  • Ongoing - Feral Food / water location and collection inc tunnelling,climbing, Peak Oil Propaganda challenges
  • 3-4pm - Mike Feingold will be available for a forest garden tour and edible perennial Xchange, Royate hill allotment
  • 6pm - 8pm - Feral trade coffee and Cube Cola drinks at Gorge (facilitated by Kate Rich and Kayle Brandon) with cave exploration on way to camp
  • 8pm - close - Autonomous shelter location /or creation. Feral Food Banquet, Heat generation, Team presentations
  • Sunday 2nd July
  • 10.30 am - Ferry crossing over the river (facilitated by heath bunting)
  • Rest and /or open source challenges, Award ceremony

  • A map showing location of challenges
  • Survival manual v 1.0
